About Kardon Events

One of the many services our parent company Kardon Group offered to our clients was annual meetings and training sessions.  Making travel arrangements for these meetings and sessions at various locations around the country was just the start.  As we got further involved in these and other event management opportunities, it became obvious that Karla Kreitner, a managing partner of Kardon Group, LLC, had a knack for these projects.  We continued to expand these services until we added the Kardon Events division in 2006.

1stshowKardon Events registered for their first (and only) expo in November of that year.  The requests began to pour in.  Word of mouth quickly replaced the need for future expos, marketing campaigns or advertising.  Nearly all of the Kardon Events clients either have heard of us or attended a function we organized.

Adding to the business meetings and training sessions that gave us our start,  Kardon Events launched client and employee appreciation events, Grand Openings, holiday parties and many other business events.  We’ve added charity fundraisers, sporting events, birthday and anniversary parties, private dinners, tastings and a wide range of events and parties to the mix.

Kardon Events joined the International Special Events Society (ISES) in 2008, and was awarded the 2009 Best Event on a Shoestring Allie Award.  Karla Kreitner was named ISES Member of the Year that same year.  She has earned the 2010, 2011 and 2012 ISES Director at Large distinction, and was awarded one of the Fenuxe Top 50 awards in 2011.
